I recently got back from Iowa City, Iowa and have returned to the ever so wonderful New Jersey (not sarcasm this time, I swear it). Iowa was an eye-opening experience to all the things I had been wondering for a long time. Would I ever meet people (my age) that loved writing as much as I do? What is it about my writing that must be fixed? What are good methods to aid you when you're stuck? And so on...
I met some very interesting people both from the young writers' studio and from the streets of Iowa. To all those people: I owe my sincere graditude for making those two weeks an untouchable experience that will forever be relevent to my experiences as a writer and a thinker (more like daydreamer).
To share with whoever looks at this: There is a great website that was conceived from the Studio by Bryan Erickson. It is called Pervenetive Sparks. It is a website dedicated to writers making podcasts of them reading the work of a writer they admire and, more significantly, reading their own work. Without further delay, here it is...for your viewing pleasure.
